"The name of this business, 'CARE FOR LIFE', means so much more to me now after being around
all of you! You all encourage me to be a better person! Thanks to all of your efforts to
help me as a new member of the team!"
~Melissa Fort, Scheduling Manager, Jan 2010
Our caregivers undergo a rigorous selection process, and receive regular mandatory training by our nurses and other medical professionals in the community to ensure the highest professional standards and effectiveness. All are experienced, background checked, bonded and insured by Care For Life. Some are Certified Nursing Assistants, and others are Personal Care Assistants previously trained in facilities or homecare agencies. All are professionally monitored by our Clinical Director, Nurse and our Quality Assurance Manager who makes unannounced home visits to assure that the caregiver is meeting the needs and expectations of our clients and their families.
Our caregivers are carefully selected following an extensive testing and interview process, reference checks, skill assessment and a comprehensive criminal screening process including Department of Motor Vehicles check. We also pay close attention to the character traits that will mean so much in your day-to-day interactions with our caregivers. We look for people who have a caring personality, patience, and a strong work ethic. The result is a team of caregivers that are dedicated, experienced, and extremely well qualified.
After rigorous recruiting of the very best caregivers, we offer on-going training. We provide our home care caregivers the best benefits package in the county. That's why we are able to attract and keep only the most qualified individuals.
Care For Life will not try to impose a new schedule on you and your family. It is our job to accommodate your schedule and needs. Our staffing coordinator makes every attempt to select the aide with the skill-level and personality that is best suited to the needs of each client. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with the caregiver we send out, all you have to do is call us and we will work with you to achieve the perfect fit. This really is all about you!
Our professional staff will visit your home regularly while maintaining close contact with our home care staff to ensure that clients are receiving the best possible care. We also make unannounced home visits to review and reinforce the Care For Life Principles of Care with our caregivers. In addition, our team meets regularly to discuss the changing needs of our clients.
