Marlene Akins
Marlene is the Recruitment and Retention Coordinator. She works directly with the President, Director of Clinical Services, and the Nurse Care Manager to ensure that proper procedure is followed in regards to policy guidelines. Marlene also shares the responsibility as an On-Call Manager for after-hours scheduling details and handling phone calls from family members or clients.

Regina Cervantes
Regina Cervantes, LPN, is currently the Care Manager at Care For Life. She started her vocation with healthcare in emergency room and hospital before leaving the ER and moving to long term care for the mentally ill. Soon after, she began her occupation in the field of geriatrics, and her experience extends to over 23 years of help and service to the elderly population.

Delores Dowling
Delores is the Executive Assistant to the President and the front office receptionist. Delores is the welcoming voice that greets you on the phone or the warm smile when you walk in the front door. She has been a caregiver with Care For Life for the past six years and assists with new applicants.

Cinamon S. Heckler
Cinamon S. Heckler, LMSW, CRCFA, NHA is the Director of Clinical Services. Her experience includes work with Charleston/Dorchester Community Mental Health, Carolina Youth and Development Center, and Adult Protective Services. She was also the Executive Director for an adult Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facility. Her primary focus is on Geriatric Care Management, Community Education, and Co-hosting Senior Focus.

Stacey Holley
Stacey is the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Finance. Stacey has an Accounting background and helps to process invoices and maintain employee records.

Leslie Nelson
Leslie is the Scheduling Manager for Care For Life. Leslie has 30 years experience in the healthcare industry. During the last 10 years her focus has been in Home Care and Hospice as a medical records specialist, medical staff scheduler, office manager, and staffing coordinator. Leslie is responsible for the scheduling of our large caregiver staff. In addition, she assists in new employee orientation and the continuing monitoring of client satisfaction.

Clark Sarullo
Clark Sarullo, the Director of Business Development and Marketing, has been involved in improving the quality of life for the elderly for many years. Since her move to Charleston, she has played an active role in volunteering and speaking on behalf of older adults. While in her hometown of Atlanta, she was Spokesperson and Director of Public and Community Relations with a national non-profit organization for seniors in eldercare facilities. She enjoys co-hosting Senior Focus and keeping Care For Life as the primary resource for seniors in the Charleston community.

Ada Winston
Ada Winston is the Home Care Coordinator and has 30 years experience as a caregiver. She now provides training and staff support to the current caregivers at Care For Life. Her past expertise includes staff and central supply coordinator, and her primary attention is now on quality assurance visits in the homes of Care For Life clients ensuring their satisfaction with service.

Debra L. Wright
Debra (Debbie) is Vice President of Finance & Administration. She has many years’ experience working in the office setting. She is a graduate of the University of SC – Aiken campus with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies-major emphasis on Business and Education. She brings a wide variety of skills to our office with experience in many fields including education, manpower, and many medical specialties as well as being a former member of the United States Air Force. Debbie returned to the States in 2002 to settle in the Charlston area after seeing the world and joined Care For Life.
